Kit and Buliding for All Eventualities

It’s been an interseting week of building and prototyping. I’ve been working on a few projects, mostly around AI and digital nostalgia and well as in the physical space through building our prototypes for the Mural Bot we’re working on with Joseph Kristofeltti, Tyler Hobbs, and Jon Starr. But one of the most important things has been the act of caring for myself and my family first and formost. It’s the edict of putting your oxygen mask on first before helping others. If you you don’t have your systems and foundations in place, you can’t help others. This week I’ve been thinking from a systems perspective about what is needed to care for all eventualities. Similar to the Boy Scout motto, “Be Prepared”, as we move through various modalities of life, we have different needs and requirements. If we can recognize these needs and have the right tools and resources at our disposal, we can be ready for anything, but also ready at the right time.
